Your laser inserts or triggers switch does not fit?

Laser insert for your existing real gun:

Set up take less than 1 minute. Just screw the trigger switch to the trigger of your gun and insert the laser into the barrel. You will pull the real trigger when shooting. If adjustment of where the laser points is still necessary to improve performance you will find an allen key as part of your set. The laser can be adjusted to exactly there you need it to point at.

If you require a custom made inserts for your rifle with a different caliber we will get it made at exactly the same price as any insert in stock. This requires extra time to get made and shipped though. All parts are manufactured for optimal precision in Germany.

Certified safe guns

Many circumstances require guns that are not actually able to fire life rounds. Say you wand to have the unit at home with family and kids around, or you want to play with mated having a few drinks. Especially if you shoot in a pubic place (hire units or events/pubs) no real guns are allowed on sight. In this case you use a modified rifle or shotgun that is certified to not being usable as a gun. These guns have the laser and trigger system built in and look and feel totally real.

We have the following guns on stock:

  • Air rifle with scope
  • Single barrel shotgun

We chose a single barrel and a air rifle because of the weight. Shooting lots will get your arms tired quickly so reduced weight will be a benefit.

If you require a custom made gun (e.g. double barrel shotgun or an old rifle turned into a certified safe gun equipped with a laser) we will get the job done here in NZ by a trusted gunsmith. This requires extra time for all orders but there is little we cannot produce.

Hand guns

As part of many packages we supply a handgun that is modified with a laser and trigger non visible from the outside. This gun is handy for a bit of casual shooting as well as to navigate the screen when e.g. novices are shooting.

If you are interested in a laser insert and trigger for your real handgun we can supply any caliber on request including the trigger set.m1911_thumb

Hardware: We recommend to order a PC with all games and software installed!

It is possible to simply order the discs with the software and load it into your computer if it has a graphic card. But this will cause inconvenience to you! We recomend purchasing a PC unit including a graphic card and all games loaded. This unit will do nothing but run the game. This is the best way to have a smooth and the most enjoyable experience whenever you decide to “go for a shoot”.

Purchasing a dedicated PC unit is cheaper and better than purchasing a laptop to run the game. Here the unit we supply”

Software and security

When you receive your unit all software is already loaded onto your machine or the CD’s you will receive in case you have not ordered a PC to run the software. The key to access your games is a “hardware dongle” (USB stick that will be delivered with our order! This USB stick need to be inserted into the computer whenever the system is used. The “stick/dongle” is a security device not allowing the software to be run if not plugged in.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT LOOSE THE DEVICE OR GET IT STOLEN.

The USB stick/dongle will not be replaces as it is the key to all the software you have purchased. If the USB stick/dongle is lost you will have to purchase a new one with all the software you have already purchased.

For the use of the unit in public places we encourage that the software dongle and the unit are secures safely or you get an IT person to create a internal USB port within your unit (computer) where the USB stick/dongle can be plugged in without being able to be removed without opening the unit!

License updates

If you have purchased a new game and it is not showing in your ShootingCinema set up please check if you have followed the below steps.

Once you have made your purchase your license will be released (normally within 24 hours). Then you need to open the DongleLicenseClient on your unit. It should be loaded and can be found in programs. Insert the Dongle into a USB port (if your dongle is not included within your unit) and run the program. Your dongle will be updates with the licenses you have purchased.

If the DongleLicenseClient cannot be found on your unit or you want to update your Dongle from another computer (that does not have the games installed) visit:  http://dongle.clockstone.com/Content/Downloads/DongleLicenseClient.exe

Download and run the DongleClient with your dongle plugged in!

(Please be aware that there is no replacement for lost or stolen dongles)

Any questions please contact ShootingCinema!

License Requirements

If you purchase a new game title from EAT GmbH, it must be enabled on your dongle. To save you the inconvenience of a dongle exchange we have created an online version that allows you to update your dongle in five easy steps.

  1. Download the program LicReq and save the file to your computer (download here: LicReq)!
  2. Connect your laser shot dongle to the computer to which you have downloaded the LicReq software. This does not have to be the computer you run the Laser Cam and the game from.
  3. Start the downloaded licreq.exe the program. A window with a button “create license application” and an empty text box appear.
  4. Press the button to create a license application. A coded license application now appears in the text box below the button. It consists of five lines of text that consist of numbers, letters, and the characters +, /, and =. These are automatically copied to the clipboard.
  5. Open your e-mail program and send the license application and the product key (see CD cover) to info (at) shootingcinema. co. nz. Within 24 hours you will receive a program to update the dongle and instructions for the update.

If you have any questions, please call. We will support you or carry out the dongle update for you. To have the update done for you, you will need to send your dongle to us in an envelope. Please ensure that the parcel arrives and insure if necessary! We cannot take responsibility for lost dongles.

Projector

Can I use my own projector or purchase a projector myself to run ShootingCinema?

Yes you can! But you have to ensure that it is a LCD projector. Other projectors will not work. The projector we sell has been tested in multiple ways and we found it reliable and very suitable for home and commercial use. If you buy a projector go for at lease the following specifications: LCD projector, 2500 Lumin, 1280 pixel

Only LCD projectors will work with your shooting cinema!

The projector we offer is perfectly suited for the job and comes at only $995. If you can find a cheaper projector anywhere else please go for it. Below a photo of the projector we recommend!

Screen

Can I purchase and use any screen or maybe decide on buying a screen later?

Yes! Some customers actually use a white wall! A professional screen will always deliver a sharper picture and a better experience.

What size screen should I buy?

If you have the space for a large screen go as large as 3 meters wide. This will offer the best shooting experience. Make it depend on the room you have available and maybe leave it to later to purchase a screen as you will be just fine with a white wall for quite a while.

Can you include a screed with my order?

Yes, but we only screens up to 1.50m H x 2.40m W. Shipping larger screens is inconvenient and we believe you will find a better price elsewhere. Below the screen we have on stock for you. Remember you will find all sorts of clever and maybe better solutions online if you have a good look on what would suite your home.

Languages

The system comes in the following languages (please specify in your order):

  • English
  • German
  • French
  • Russian

iconError messages

If errors occur please refer to the list below:

Black screen or frozen screen

If you see a black screen while navigating through the game or something freezes or does not perform as expected just go back a step or two with the ESC key and start again klicking to where you want to go!

Error - Game stopped working

If you see the following error message on a desktop computer!

“Game has stopped working – Windows can check online for a solution for this problem!”

This can occur if no speaker is attached. If your projector is connected with HDMI or other digital connection it should suffice as the projector has a speaker. If an analog cable is use the sound might not get transfered. This will slso happen if you want to run the game on a screen only. Connect a speaker to the back jack!

This error can also happen when additional other software is installed on the same PC. Some software can corrupt the free flow of the game. We highly recommend not installing any other software on the gaming PC.
